About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Commercial Property Surveyor to join their established practice in Birmingham . This role focuses on providing expert advice on a range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leasehold negotiations, and building surveys. You will work with a diverse client base, from local businesses to larger corporations, ensuring their property interests are managed effectively. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering high-quality surveying services and fostering strong client relationships within the West Midlands property market. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed building surveys and technical due diligence for commercial properties.
• Advise clients on lease negotiations, rent reviews, and dilapidations matters.
• Manage property portfolios, providing strategic advice on asset management and investment potential.
• Prepare and negotiate service charge budgets and agreements.
• Undertake project management for property renovations and developments.
• Ensure all professional services are delivered in accordance with RICS guidelines and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Qualified Surveyor with MRICS or FRICS designation.
• Demonstrable experience in commercial property surveying, including landlord and tenant matters.
• Strong understanding of commercial property law and building regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a client-centric approach.
• Proficiency in relevant surveying software and Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the region for site visits.
