About the Role

Our client seeks a dedicated Commercial Property Surveyor to join their established team in Birmingham . This role is crucial for managing and advising on a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring optimal performance and value. You will be involved in a range of activities from rent reviews and lease negotiations to property management and dilapidations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial property law and market dynamics, contributing to the success of our clients' investments across the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting property inspections and assessments for commercial assets.
• Managing lease renewals, rent reviews, and break clauses for a diverse client portfolio.
• Advising clients on property management strategies and asset enhancement opportunities.
• Handling dilapidations claims and advising on repair and maintenance obligations.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations for commercial properties.

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Surveying, Estate Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in commercial property management or surveying.
• Knowledge of Birmingham commercial property market trends and legislation.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Membership of RICS or equivalent professional body is highly desirable.
