About the Role

Our client seeks a diligent and detail-oriented Commercial Property Surveyor to join their established team in Birmingham . This role involves conducting thorough property inspections, advising clients on a range of commercial property matters, and contributing to the valuation and management of diverse assets. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders, blending site visits with office-based and remote work, to ensure the highest standards of service and professional advice are maintained. Key Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed surveys and inspections of commercial properties to assess condition, value, and compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive survey reports, valuations, and schedules of condition for a variety of commercial clients.
• Advise clients on property acquisition, disposal, leasing, and asset management strategies.
• Identify and report on any defects, potential risks, or opportunities for improvement in commercial properties.
• Liaise with property owners, tenants, solicitors, and other professionals to facilitate transactions and resolve property issues.
• Maintain accurate records and manage project timelines effectively, balancing site work with administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Qualified Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in commercial property surveying, including building surveys and valuations.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial property markets and legislation in the UK .
• Excellent report writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively across multiple tasks.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel for site visits are essential for this hybrid role.
