Location: Enfield, North London (Mobile)

Salary: Up to £48,000 + London Weighting Allowance + Door-to-Door Travel + Overtime + Callout + Company Van

An experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer is needed to join the engineering team of a leading retail business covering Enfield and surrounding areas. The role is directly employed, mobile across the UK, offering job security, competitive salary, ongoing training, and long‑term career progression.

Role

You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of a wide range of retail refrigeration equipment across multiple sites throughout the Enfield and North London region.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair retail refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify refrigeration and electrical faults.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Attend reactive breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently.
• Complete service reports and associated documentation.
• Participate in the callout rota (1 in 5).

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer or Field Service Engineer.
• Current F‑Gas Certification.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
