About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Commercial Relationship Manager to serve their growing business clientele in Cardiff . This vital role focuses on building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with commercial clients, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored banking solutions. You will be the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and driving profitable growth for the bank within the Welsh market. This position requires a strong understanding of commercial banking products and a dedication to exceptional client service, operating from our central Cardiff branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Assess client financial needs and propose appropriate banking products and services, including loans, credit lines, and treasury management solutions.
- Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessment for new and existing clients.
- Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling bank products and services to deepen client relationships.
- Represent the bank in the local business community and participate in networking events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or a similar client-facing financial role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a commercial client portfolio and achieving growth targets.
- Strong understanding of credit analysis, financial statements, and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
