Commercial Van Driver - Multi-Drop Specialist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and physically fit Commercial Van Driver to join their team in Bradford . This role involves undertaking multi-drop deliveries of goods to commercial and residential clients throughout the local and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a commercial van, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining a high standard of customer service. This is a demanding but rewarding position for an individual committed to reliability and excellence in the Driving & Transport industry, contributing to the company's operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform multi-drop deliveries of various goods to customers within strict timeframes.
• Operate a commercial van safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Conduct routine checks on the vehicle, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring they are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Provide professional and courteous service to all customers encountered during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, including proof of delivery.

Requirements

• A valid UK Driving License , preferably with B+E category if towing is involved.
• Proven experience as a van driver, particularly with multi-drop delivery routes.
• A good understanding of the Bradford and West Yorkshire road networks.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery targets.
• Good physical stamina to handle the loading and unloading of goods.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
