You will be responsible for operating a commercial vehicle, adhering to strict delivery schedules, and ensuring excellent customer service at all drop-off points. The ideal candidate will possess a valid commercial driving license, a clean driving record, and a strong understanding of road safety regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Plan and execute daily delivery routes, ensuring optimal time management.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining a high standard of vehicle care.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally.
Requirements
- Valid UK Commercial Vehicle Licence (Category C1 or C) with a valid Driver CPC card.
- A clean driving record with no major endorsements.
- Proven experience driving commercial vehicles in a professional capacity.
- Good knowledge of the Oxford and surrounding Oxfordshire areas.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work to strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
