About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Commercial Window Cleaner to join their team in Portsmouth . This role involves cleaning the exterior and interior windows of commercial buildings to a high standard, ensuring clarity and presentation. You will work at heights using specialized equipment and techniques, adhering strictly to safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, comfortable working at heights, and possess excellent attention to detail. This is a vital role in maintaining the appearance and professionalism of our client's commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and building facades of commercial properties using various methods, including water-fed poles and traditional squeegees.
• Assess building access and safety requirements before commencing work, ensuring all necessary precautions are taken.
• Operate safely at height using ladders, scaffolding, and access platforms according to safety guidelines.
• Mix and apply cleaning solutions appropriate for different types of glass and environmental conditions.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working order and properly stored.
• Respond to client inquiries and report any issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a window cleaner, specifically in a commercial setting.
• Certification or experience with working at heights (e.g., IPAF, PASMA) is highly desirable.
• Thorough understanding of health and safety procedures related to working at height and chemical handling.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent balance and dexterity, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
