Commissioning Engineer - Life Sciences (12 months) – Surrey, UK
We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer for a fantastic 12‑month contract based in Surrey. You will be working with our client, a global biopharmaceutical organisation committed to improving the lives of people afflicted with neurological and immunological disease. What You’ll Do
- Adhere to Commissioning Strategy, Commissioning Plan, and Master Commissioning Schedule.
- Coordinate commissioning activities across multiple building systems.
- Ensure installation quality is suitable for commissioning start‑up (“commissioning ready” checks).
- Ensure commissioning documentation is produced, reviewed, and approved.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer on complex construction projects.
- Experience delivering commissioning for laboratories, R&D facilities, or highly serviced technical environments.
- Strong understanding of building systems, MEP design, automation controls, and specialist lab systems.
- Degree/HND in engineering, building services, or related field.
