Our client is seeking a creative and strategic Communications Specialist to enhance their public image and internal messaging, working remotely to serve their Manchester -based operations. You will be pivotal in crafting clear, consistent, and compelling communications across all platforms, including media relations, social media, and internal stakeholder engagement. This role requires someone adept at translating complex information into accessible content, managing brand voice, and fostering positive relationships both externally and internally. You will contribute significantly to the company's narrative and brand perception, operating within a forward-thinking, digitally connected team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated communication plans across various channels.
- Write engaging content for press releases, website, social media, and newsletters.
- Manage social media presence and engagement strategies.
- Liaise with media contacts and respond to press inquiries promptly.
- Support the development of internal communications for employees.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor communication activities.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to create high-quality written and visual content.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in stakeholder management.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
