Community Carer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a compassionate and reliable Community Carer to join their team in Brighton , offering flexible, part-time hours. This role is essential for providing high-quality domiciliary care to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life within the East Sussex community. You will be a key part of a dedicated team, providing practical and emotional support, and ensuring the comfort and safety of clients. Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, adhering strictly to individual care plans.
• Assist clients with daily tasks, including personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and medication administration support.
• Help clients with light domestic duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Monitor clients' well-being and promptly report any changes or concerns to the care coordinator or manager.
• Foster positive and respectful relationships with clients, promoting their independence and dignity.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals involved in their care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
• A naturally caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting others.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple client visits.
• Must have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel between clients' homes.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet service needs.
