You will be responsible for designing and implementing initiatives that foster meaningful engagement, raise awareness of our services, and mobilise local support. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive community engagement strategy tailored to the needs of the local population.
Organise and facilitate community events, workshops, and information sessions to promote awareness and participation.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with community leaders, local groups, schools, and other stakeholders.
Represent the organisation at community meetings, forums, and public events.
Gather feedback from the community to inform service development and strategic planning.
Recruit, train, and support volunteers involved in community outreach activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in community development, outreach, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to engage diverse community groups and build trust.
Excellent organisational and event management skills.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
A genuine commitment to social justice and community empowerment.
