Community Fundraising Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Fundraising Manager to join their dedicated team in Aberdeen . You will be instrumental in building strong relationships with community groups, schools, businesses, and individuals, inspiring them to support vital causes through events, campaigns, and regular giving. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive community fundraising plan tailored to the Aberdeen area, meeting or exceeding income targets.
• Organize and manage a diverse range of fundraising events, from local fairs to bespoke challenge events, ensuring profitability and excellent participant experience.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors, corporate partners, community groups, and volunteers.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to support fundraising activities and events.
• Create compelling fundraising materials, including appeals, social media content, and press releases, to promote activities and engage the public.
• Analyse fundraising data to identify trends, measure success, and inform future strategy development.

Requirements

• Proven track record in fundraising or income generation, preferably within the charity sector.
• Demonstrable experience in event management, campaign development, and donor relationship management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using CRM databases and standard office software.
