About the Role

Our client is seeking a vibrant and engaging Community Manager to foster and grow their online community focused on Outdoor Adventure & Travel . This is a fully remote position, allowing you to connect with enthusiasts globally from your home base in or near Edinburgh . You will be the voice of the brand online, responsible for creating compelling content, moderating discussions, and building meaningful relationships with community members. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a community engagement strategy across various online platforms, including forums, social media groups, and brand-owned channels.
• Create and curate engaging content, including articles, posts, videos, and user-generated content spotlights.
• Actively monitor and moderate community discussions, ensuring a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment.
• Respond promptly to community inquiries, feedback, and concerns, escalating issues as needed.
• Organize and promote online events, challenges, and activities to foster community interaction and brand loyalty.
• Analyze community metrics and provide insights to inform marketing and product development strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Community Manager , Social Media Manager, or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing community growth.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting engaging copy.
• Demonstrated passion for and knowledge of Outdoor Adventure & Travel .
• Experience with social media management tools and community platforms.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fully remote setting .
• Strong understanding of online community dynamics and best practices for engagement.
