About the Role

Our client is looking for an energetic and organized Community Outreach Coordinator to bolster their services in Birmingham . This vital role focuses on connecting with vulnerable individuals and families, identifying their needs, and linking them to appropriate support services within the community. You will be the face of the organization in local settings, building strong relationships with community partners and ensuring that our client's services are accessible to those who need them most. This position requires a proactive approach and a deep understanding of the social landscape of Birmingham, working hands-on within the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage with diverse community groups.
• Identify and assess the needs of individuals and families requiring social care support.
• Provide information, guidance, and referrals to relevant services and resources.
• Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and information sessions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local charities, government agencies, and community leaders.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and client interactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in community work, social services, or a related field.
• Excellent understanding of local community resources and referral pathways in Birmingham .
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
• Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle may be advantageous.
