About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Community Outreach Coordinator to foster stronger connections between their services and the communities of Bristol . This role is instrumental in promoting engagement, raising awareness of available support, and building strong relationships with local groups, organisations, and residents. You will develop and implement outreach strategies, coordinate events, and represent the organisation at community functions, working to increase access to essential services for those who need them most. This position offers a dynamic blend of in-person engagement and remote coordination, providing an excellent opportunity to drive community impact and foster a greater sense of inclusion and support within the local area, working collaboratively with a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective community outreach strategies to increase service awareness and uptake.
• Organise and manage community events, workshops, and information sessions, both in-person and online.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with community leaders, local authorities, and partner organisations.
• Create engaging outreach materials and manage social media presence for community engagement initiatives.
• Identify community needs and provide feedback to inform service development.
• Represent the organisation at community forums and external events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in community outreach, engagement, or a similar role.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Familiarity with the Bristol community landscape is advantageous.
