About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute outreach events and activities within the local community to promote the charity's mission and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local businesses, and other charitable organizations.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for outreach initiatives.
• Communicate effectively about the charity's impact through various channels, including social media and local press.
• Assist in the development and implementation of local fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
• Track and report on outreach activities, community feedback, and key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Experience in community engagement, outreach, or a related field within the non-profit sector.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse community stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with the Birmingham community is a plus.
