Community Outreach Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate Community Outreach Coordinator to lead their engagement efforts in Birmingham . This role is central to connecting with local communities, understanding their needs, and mobilising support for our client's charitable causes. You will be the face of the organisation in the region, building relationships with community leaders, volunteers, and beneficiaries. This position is based primarily in our Birmingham office and requires a proactive individual committed to fostering positive community impact through direct engagement and programme support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective outreach strategies to engage diverse community groups across the West Midlands .
• Organise and lead community events, workshops, and information sessions to raise awareness and promote our client's services.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support outreach activities and local initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local community leaders, schools, businesses, and other stakeholders.
• Collect feedback from the community to inform programme development and ensure relevance.

Requirements

• Experience in community development, social work, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute community engagement events and programmes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for working with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with the Birmingham community and local support networks.
