About the Role

Our client, a respected charity based in Manchester, Greater Manchester, UK , is seeking an energetic and dedicated Community Outreach Officer . This role is central to building strong relationships within the local community, raising awareness about the charity's work, and engaging individuals to support its cause. You will be the face of the organization in various community settings, fostering goodwill and mobilizing support. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community engagement strategies to increase brand awareness and support for the charity's objectives.
• Organize and participate in community events, workshops, and information sessions to connect with potential supporters and beneficiaries.
• Build and maintain relationships with local community groups, schools, businesses, and other stakeholders.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to assist with outreach activities and events.
• Gather feedback from the community to inform the charity's programs and services.

Requirements

• Previous experience in community engagement, outreach, or a related field, ideally within the charitable sector .
• Strong understanding of community dynamics and how to build effective relationships.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
