Community Support Assistant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a caring and reliable Community Support Assistant to join their team in Milton Keynes . You will provide essential support to individuals in their own homes and within the local community, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. This hybrid role involves both direct client interaction and some administrative tasks that can be performed remotely. We are looking for individuals with a strong sense of compassion and a commitment to delivering high-quality care services, contributing positively to the lives of those we serve in the Buckinghamshire area.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care and support in line with individual care plans.
• Assist clients with personal care, medication prompts, meal preparation, and domestic tasks.
• Accompany clients on outings, appointments, or shopping trips to promote social inclusion.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided, using digital and paper-based systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the wider care team.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Experience in a care or support role is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work a combination of in-person and remote tasks as required.
• A background check and satisfactory references will be required.
