Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized support and assistance to clients with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
• Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and accurate record-keeping.
• Accompany clients to appointments, social activities, and community events, promoting engagement and social inclusion.
• Monitor clients' well-being, observing any changes in their condition and reporting concerns to the appropriate supervisors promptly.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of care provided, client progress, and any incidents encountered.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals involved in their care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving or support role is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
• A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is often required for this role.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and obtain relevant certifications in care.
• Understanding of safeguarding principles and confidentiality in care settings.
