Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, assisting with personal hygiene, medication reminders, and daily living activities.
- Develop and maintain positive, trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and companionship.
- Assist clients with essential errands, such as grocery shopping, attending appointments, and accessing community resources.
- Monitor clients' well-being, promptly reporting any changes in their condition or concerns to the supervisory team.
- Encourage and support clients in maintaining their independence and engaging in social and recreational activities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided and client progress.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a caregiving or support role is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs of vulnerable individuals and ethical care practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport.
- A compassionate and patient demeanor, with a strong commitment to client dignity.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and relevant safeguarding training.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and ideally possess a valid UK driving license.
