Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to individuals with diverse needs, including physical, mental health, or learning disabilities.
- Assist clients with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans in collaboration with clients, families, and relevant agencies.
- Encourage and facilitate clients' engagement in community activities, social events, and personal interests.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client progress, support provided, and any incidents.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other support networks to ensure holistic care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a caregiving or support role is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and promoting their independence.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
