Job Summary
Complex Needs Support Assistants are required to support pupils with autism, profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex learning needs within a specialist SEND school in Hereford. Barrs Court School is a specialist SEND school in Hereford supporting children and young people with a wide range of complex needs. The school provides a highly personalised curriculum designed to develop communication, independence and life skills, helping pupils achieve their individual potential.
The school is looking to appoint dedicated Complex Needs Support Assistants to work alongside experienced teachers, therapists and support staff. You will support pupils throughout the school day, helping them access learning through sensory activities, communication-based approaches and personalised interventions. The role may include supporting personal care, mobility and therapy programmes, making it ideal for candidates from education, care, healthcare or support work backgrounds.
