About the Role
We are recruiting for a Compliance & Testing Engineer to support a growing portfolio of commercial buildings across London.
This is a foot-mobile role focused on statutory compliance, safety inspections, and testing. You'll play a vital role in ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant, and fully documented.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out statutory compliance testing across commercial properties. Conduct emergency lighting tests. Perform fire alarm testing and inspections. Complete water temperature monitoring and flushing regimes. Undertake fire door inspections. Assist with dry riser inspections and testing. Record test results, photographs, certificates, and asset information accurately and promptly. Report defects, failures, and compliance issues to the maintenance team. Support ongoing health and safety and compliance requirements across the portfolio.
About You
Experience within property maintenance, facilities management, compliance, or building services. Methodical and detail-oriented approach to work. Comfortable using hand tools and testing equipment. Basic understanding of electrical and building systems. Strong organisational and record-keeping skills. Professional and confident when interacting with clients and occupiers. Able to work independently and manage your workload effectively. Committed to health and safety best practices.
