Compliance Assessor
Location: Halesowen Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £30k
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist compliance-led organisation seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Compliance Assessor to support the delivery of high-quality project verification, regulatory compliance, and health & safety administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and issue post-verification reports for completed projects, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Monitor compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal quality procedures.
- Identify areas of risk, non-compliance, or poor practice and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain and administer industry compliance registers and audit documentation.
- Liaise with surveyors, operational teams, and administrators regarding remedial works, inspections, quotations, and project requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including drawings, asset registers, verification schedules, and equipment requirements.
- Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for projects.
- Support ongoing reviews of safe working practices and operational procedures.
- Provide administrative support for quality, compliance, training, and competency initiatives as required.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience maintaining compliance records, reports, and documentation.
- Confident IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and professional approach to problem-solving.
