About the Role
Our client is looking for a vigilant and knowledgeable Compliance Officer to join their operations in Reading . This role is critical for ensuring the company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies within the insurance sector. You will be responsible for monitoring compliance activities, developing and implementing compliance programs, and advising on regulatory matters. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's compliance program and policies.
- Monitor adherence to relevant laws, regulations (e.g., FCA, GDPR), and industry standards.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance breaches.
- Investigate reported compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements
- Experience in a Compliance Officer or similar role, preferably in the financial services or insurance industry.
