Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components according to approved technical data and procedures.
- Conduct functional tests and performance checks on repaired components to ensure airworthiness and operational efficiency.
- Diagnose component faults and failures, determining the most effective repair methods.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance, testing, and repair activities performed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards in the workshop.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and problem resolution.
Requirements
- Experience in a mechanical or electrical maintenance role, preferably within the aviation industry.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, repair schemes, and component specifications.
- Proficiency with relevant tools, test equipment, and diagnostic systems for component repair.
- A strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical principles relevant to aircraft components.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting and repair.
- Good manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
