Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to secondary school students (Key Stages 3 and 4).
• Develop students' understanding of programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and computational principles.
• Assess, track, and report on student progress in Computer Science, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a stimulating and practical learning environment that encourages exploration and problem-solving with technology.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in technology and computing education to inform teaching practices.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scratch) and a strong grasp of computational concepts.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster student interest in technology.
