Key Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science and related subjects to secondary school students, covering programming, algorithms, data structures, and digital ethics.
• Develop engaging lesson plans and practical activities that foster computational thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Assess student progress through projects, coding challenges, and theoretical assessments, providing timely feedback.
• Stay current with advancements in technology and computer science, integrating new tools and methodologies into the curriculum.
• Promote digital citizenship and responsible technology use among students.
• Collaborate with the IT department and other teaching staff to enhance digital learning across the school.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level, with strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
• Familiarity with curriculum development for computer science.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
