About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Computer Vision Engineer to join their innovative technology team, operating on a fully remote basis. You will be at the forefront of developing and implementing cutting-edge computer vision algorithms and solutions for a variety of applications, including image recognition, object detection, and scene understanding. This role involves working with large visual datasets, designing deep learning models, and integrating these systems into real-world products. You'll collaborate with a distributed team of AI specialists, software engineers, and researchers to push the boundaries of visual intelligence. The ideal candidate possesses a strong academic background and practical experience in computer vision and deep learning, with a passion for solving complex visual problems remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms and models using deep learning frameworks.
- Implement solutions for image classification, object detection, segmentation, and tracking.
- Process and analyze large image and video datasets, ensuring data quality and relevance.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate computer vision models into applications and systems.
- Stay current with state-of-the-art research and techniques in computer vision and AI.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of developed models and algorithms.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Computer Vision.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision and deep learning.
- Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
- Strong understanding of image processing techniques and machine learning principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms and GPU computing is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote , collaborative setting.
