Computer Vision Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Computer Vision Engineer to join their cutting-edge AI & Emerging Technologies team in Liverpool . You will be instrumental in developing and implementing advanced computer vision algorithms and systems for a variety of applications, from image recognition to object detection and tracking. This role requires a strong background in image processing, machine learning, and software development, working within a team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of visual AI. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms and models.
• Implement solutions for image processing, object detection, segmentation, and tracking.
• Work with large image and video datasets for training and evaluating models.
• Integrate computer vision systems into larger software applications and platforms.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and software engineers to advance product capabilities.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in the field of computer vision and deep learning.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computer vision.
• 4+ years of experience in computer vision development .
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python, and experience with relevant libraries (OpenCV, Pillow).
• Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks for vision tasks.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
