About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Computer Vision Engineer to join their cutting-edge AI & Emerging Technologies team in Liverpool . You will be instrumental in developing and implementing advanced computer vision algorithms and systems for a variety of applications, from image recognition to object detection and tracking. This role requires a strong background in image processing, machine learning, and software development, working within a team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of visual AI. You will contribute to innovative projects that have real-world impact, working with state-of-the-art technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms and models.
- Implement solutions for image processing, object detection, segmentation, and tracking.
- Work with large image and video datasets for training and evaluating models.
- Integrate computer vision systems into larger software applications and platforms.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and software engineers to advance product capabilities.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in the field of computer vision and deep learning.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computer vision.
- 4+ years of experience in computer vision development .
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Python, and experience with relevant libraries (OpenCV, Pillow).
- Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks for vision tasks.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
