Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for tasks such as object detection, image segmentation, and facial recognition.
- Implement and integrate vision models into real-time applications and hardware systems.
- Process and analyze large image and video datasets for model training and evaluation.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to deploy vision solutions on embedded systems.
- Conduct research into new computer vision techniques and evaluate their potential application.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, contributing to team knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in Computer Vision.
- 3+ years of experience in developing computer vision systems.
- Proficiency in Python or C++ and experience with libraries like OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Strong understanding of image processing, machine learning, and deep learning techniques for vision.
- Experience with camera calibration, 3D vision, or augmented reality is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented research and development setting in Liverpool .
