Computer Vision Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Computer Vision Engineer to join their innovative team in Leeds , focusing on cutting-edge solutions within the AI & Emerging Technologies sector. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced computer vision algorithms and systems that enable machines to 'see' and interpret visual information. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and deploy sophisticated computer vision models for tasks such as object detection, image segmentation, facial recognition, and pose estimation.

• Work with large datasets of images and videos, ensuring data quality and effective model training.
• Integrate computer vision systems into existing software and hardware platforms, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Conduct research and experimentation to identify and apply state-of-the-art computer vision techniques.
• Optimize model performance for real-time applications and resource-constrained environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in Computer Vision or Machine Learning.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying computer vision algorithms and systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python or C++, with expertise in libraries like OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Solid understanding of image processing techniques, geometric vision, and machine learning principles.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks and convolutional neural networks (CNNs).
• Ability to work independently, manage projects effectively, and contribute to team goals in a dynamic setting.
