About the Role
Our client is a pioneering force in AI & Emerging Technologies , looking for a talented Computer Vision Engineer to join their innovative team, operating remotely with strong ties to our Belfast hub. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced computer vision systems for a variety of cutting-edge applications. This role requires a deep understanding of image processing, machine learning, and deep learning techniques applied to visual data. You will work on challenging projects that push the boundaries of what's possible, contributing to the development of intelligent systems that can perceive and interpret the visual world. This is a fantastic remote opportunity for an engineer passionate about visual AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement algorithms for image recognition, object detection, segmentation, and tracking.
- Build and train deep learning models for computer vision tasks using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Optimize computer vision pipelines for real-time performance and deployment on various hardware platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and integrate vision solutions into products.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in computer vision research and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in computer vision development and implementation.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++, with expertise in libraries like OpenCV.
- Solid understanding of deep learning principles and frameworks for vision tasks.
- Experience with data annotation, augmentation, and model evaluation techniques.
