About the Role

Our client is seeking an engaging and knowledgeable Concierge to serve as the ultimate resource for guests at their prestigious hotel in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is dedicated to anticipating guest needs and providing personalized recommendations and arrangements for dining, entertainment, transportation, and local experiences. You will be instrumental in crafting memorable stays by offering impeccable service and expert advice, ensuring guests have an exceptional experience of Stoke-on-Trent and its surrounding attractions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist guests with reservations for restaurants, theatre tickets, and other local attractions.
• Provide personalized recommendations for sightseeing, activities, and transportation.
• Arrange and confirm transportation services, including taxis and car rentals.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests with efficiency, courtesy, and discretion.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of local events, restaurants, and points of interest.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests seamlessly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a concierge or guest services role is highly desirable.
• Exceptional knowledge of the local area, including attractions, dining, and events.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using concierge software and general computer skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and guest satisfaction.
