Our client, a well-established, privately owned, £50m turnover, main contracting business, seek to hire an experienced Construction Buyer to work from their East London head offices.Working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, you will be purchasing a wide range of building materials; aggregates, bricks and blocks, timber, glazing and other common and specialist materials as dictated by each new job. As a business they cover the; Housing, Education, Health, Commercial and Public sectors, undertaking a wide range of new-build and refurbishment projects, up to circa £10m each in value. You will be working as part of a vibrant and tight-knit team, with clear objectives and career path for any desired progression. With a stable senior management team, this is a good environment to both and develop professionally. They are open to candidates who are either already established at this level (5+years) or assistant buyers looking to take the next step. If you feel this could be your next career challenge.
