Construction Foreman

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Foreman to lead operational teams on various building projects in Cambridge . This hands-on role is essential for ensuring that work on site is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for supervising trades, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring compliance with project plans and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong practical knowledge of construction techniques and excellent leadership capabilities to guide and motivate the site crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of construction workers and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and health and safety protocols.
• Monitor progress of tasks, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure workmanship meets required standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized worksite, ensuring proper storage of materials and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the Site Manager and other project personnel regarding site progress and issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar supervisory role in construction.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures .
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• A valid CSCS card is required.
