Construction Foreman

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Construction Foreman to lead day-to-day operations on various building sites in and around Bradford . This hands-on role is essential for supervising crews, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the required standards. You will be responsible for coordinating tasks, managing resources, and maintaining clear communication between site workers and management. This is a vital position for ensuring the smooth progress of projects within West Yorkshire, contributing to a company known for its quality craftsmanship and reliable project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily activities of construction crews and tradespeople on site.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Manage materials and equipment on site, ensuring adequate supply and proper usage.
• Conduct on-the-job training and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
• Maintain a safe working environment, identifying and rectifying potential hazards in Bradford .
• Report progress, issues, and site conditions to the Site Manager or Project Manager.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
• Solid knowledge of construction trades, building methods, and equipment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety protocols on construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Good communication skills for effective coordination with teams and management.
