About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Construction Manager to lead significant projects in the Nottingham area. This senior role involves overseeing all aspects of construction operations, from planning and resource allocation to execution and project completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. You will be responsible for managing site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, driving performance and fostering a culture of excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and specifications.
• Develop and implement detailed project plans, including resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations , promoting a safety-first culture.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks, and progress meetings.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies, providing clear and timely project updates.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a Construction Manager or similar senior site management role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building techniques, and relevant legislation.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
