About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead major building projects from conception to completion in the Bristol region. You will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and control of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This senior role offers the opportunity to manage significant developments and drive excellence in construction across the South West of England.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive project management plans , encompassing scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
Oversee site operations, manage construction teams, and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations .
Monitor project progress, quality, and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Manage client relationships, stakeholder communication, and contractual obligations.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews, reporting on key performance indicators.

Requirements

Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Substantial experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager.
Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects.
In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and project management methodologies .
Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
