Construction Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and driven Construction Manager to oversee a flagship development project in the historic city of Oxford . Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the construction project from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and handover.
• Develop and manage detailed project programs, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Oversee and direct site teams, subcontractors, and consultants, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, environmental , and quality standards and regulations.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships, providing regular progress updates and resolving issues effectively.
• Implement robust quality control measures and ensure the project meets all design specifications and performance requirements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in construction management , with a successful track record of delivering large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, project management software, and health and safety legislation .
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent is highly advantageous.
