About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and driven Construction Manager to oversee a flagship development project in the historic city of Oxford . You will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the construction project from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and handover.
- Develop and manage detailed project programs, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Oversee and direct site teams, subcontractors, and consultants, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, environmental , and quality standards and regulations.
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships, providing regular progress updates and resolving issues effectively.
- Implement robust quality control measures and ensure the project meets all design specifications and performance requirements.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in construction management , with a successful track record of delivering large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, project management software, and health and safety legislation .
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent is highly advantageous.
