Construction Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee projects in and around Norwich . This role demands strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage all facets of project delivery, from pre-construction through to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining essential on-site presence with strategic remote planning and administrative duties, ensuring efficient oversight and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Manage site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on all sites.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Manage project budgets, control costs, and approve expenditures.
• Liaise with clients, designers, and regulatory bodies to ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Site Manager.
• In-depth knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and regulations.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and standard office applications.
• Relevant construction or engineering qualification (e.g., CIOB, degree).
