Construction Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Construction Manager to oversee multiple projects and provide leadership to their site teams in the Oxford region. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Manage client relationships, consultants, and subcontractors, fostering positive working partnerships.
• Control project finances, including cost forecasting, managing variations, and approving payments.
• Lead and mentor site teams, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a Construction Manager or similar senior site management role.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contract management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Relevant construction management qualification (e.g., CIOB, APM) is advantageous.
