About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join their dynamic team in Sheffield . You will be responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring detailed construction schedules for a variety of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role requires a meticulous approach, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using planning software.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to define project scope, tasks, and dependencies.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, including critical path analysis and resource requirements.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines and milestones.
- Contribute to the bidding process by developing preliminary construction plans and schedules.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Planner or Scheduler.
- Proficiency in construction planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Asta Powerproject.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and sequencing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
