About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Planner to join their team in Bristol . This role is essential for developing, maintaining, and communicating robust project schedules for a range of construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project construction schedules using planning software.
- Collaborate with project teams to define project scope, activities, and sequences.
- Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule, identifying deviations and potential delays.
- Prepare reports on project status, highlighting key milestones, critical path activities, and potential risks.
- Assist in the development of tender planning and preliminary schedules.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of resources and information.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Planner or Scheduler.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject is essential.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
