About the Role

Our client requires a skilled Construction Planner to join their team based in Wolverhampton . This role is central to ensuring the efficient and timely execution of construction projects by developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules. You will collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and other stakeholders to create realistic timelines, identify critical paths, and mitigate potential delays. Your expertise in scheduling software and construction methodologies will be key to driving project success and ensuring operations run smoothly throughout the West Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject).
• Analyze project scope and requirements to create detailed work breakdown structures and critical path analysis.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and develop recovery plans as necessary.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure alignment between planned activities and actual site progress.
• Produce regular progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to confirm resource availability and timelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Planner or Scheduler.
• Proficiency with industry-standard planning and scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and site operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
