About the Role

You will work closely with project managers, site teams, and other stakeholders to create realistic and achievable plans, identify potential risks, and propose solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction project schedules using planning software.
• Identify critical path activities, potential delays, and resource constraints.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate input for schedules and forecasts.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Analyze project risks and propose mitigation strategies related to scheduling.
• Support the bid and tender process by providing robust programme information.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Planner or Scheduler.
• Proficiency in using planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or Asta Powerproject.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and sequencing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various project stakeholders.
• Experience working on complex construction projects in the Portsmouth area.
