About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive construction project schedules from inception to completion.
• Identify critical path activities and potential scheduling risks, proposing mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to gather input and ensure schedule accuracy.
• Utilize planning software to create visual representations of project timelines, including Gantt charts and network diagrams.
• Track project progress against the baseline schedule, reporting on variances and forecasting completion dates.
• Ensure all planning activities comply with contractual requirements and company standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Planner or in a similar scheduling role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Asta Powerproject.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and logic.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams.
