About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Project Coordinator to support their construction operations from a remote capacity. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth administrative and logistical flow of projects, providing crucial support to project managers and site teams. You will be responsible for document control, scheduling, coordinating communications, and assisting with procurement and reporting tasks. This fully remote position offers a flexible working environment for an individual keen to contribute to significant construction projects across the UK without the need for on-site presence, working within a company that fully embraces a distributed workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes.
- Assist project managers with procurement processes, including obtaining quotes and processing purchase orders.
- Track project progress and assist in the preparation of regular status reports.
- Facilitate communication between project team members, clients, and subcontractors.
- Manage project calendars and scheduling, ensuring timely completion of administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or administrative role within the construction industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks in a remote setting.
